The project “Established agreements of the service applied to the process of selection
of the Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, Guayaquil Headquarters” Is sustained in the
systematization on the process of selection that is currently effective in the university,
as a result it was determined that the principal problematic axes are; the excess of time
spent for staff selection; minimum verification of references of the applicants, lack of
systems for the automatization of the formats, lack of feedback about the candidates
evaluated to the area chief that perform the requirement, absence of tools that allow
the process of selection to be objective, Individual selection formats regulated by law
for each type of selected staff (Teacher, technical teacher, administrative) are not
available, The manual of positions and functions is not updated, competition for
positions is not structured at all; moreover there are problems less relevant like; the
process of selection is not preformed in an adequate place where distractions are avoid
and the tests that are being made through the evaluation system are disrupted. For
optimizing this process solutions are given through six service agreements; reduce the
time for the process of selection, implement a reference style, implement interview
formats, update of the function’s manual, it is suggested the implementation of air
conditioning on the testing room for the postulants to give the test without any
distraction, and the maintenance of the
evaluation tests to avoid interruptions. |
