Sumario: The performance of teachers in the communities of the parish of San Pablo Lake Canton Otavalo, graduates in the Bilingual Intercultural Education EIB Polytechnic Salesian University UPS is an investigation to determine the extent to help strengthen the EIB, look from the Union of Indigenous Communities of San Pablo Lake UNCISPAL. The first chapter contains reviews of education in the country from colonial times to the emergence of the indigenous movement when the EIB, EIB experiences, creating the National EIB DINEIB, Interculturalism in the educational context, conflict also appears in indigenous organizations and state, some experiences of higher education in teacher training in IBE and teacher performance. The second chapter contains geographical, population, infrastructure and basic services, education and history of the parish of San Pablo Lake. The causes of the origin and axes of work the first organization of peasant character of the Union of Peasant Organizations UDOCAM parish and later change to UNCISPAL. In the third chapter the description of teacher performance in the classroom is made to four teachers communities, Angla, El Topo, Spring Uksha and Araque, focused on identifying strategies for teaching and learning in educational practice for strengthening the EIB.
