Sumario: This case study was interested in knowing the planning, execution of the teaching process, organization of the work of the learning experience, evaluation strategies and student teacher interaction, using the qualitative ethnographic method, and the support of observation and interview techniques. The content includes the following parts: The description of the problem includes the background from the 2010 National Curriculum; The state of the art reviews titling works; Explains the importance, scope of the study and why the research. In addition, there is the delimitation, presentation of the problem, general and specific objectives of this analysis. Continuing the theoretical foundation with the conceptualizations of: pedagogical practices, language and literature, curriculum, content, curricular blocks, area objectives, skills with performance criterion, Good Living and transversal axes. There are also specific aspects for teaching 2nd Language and Literature (EGB), as well as: educational objectives of the year, description of the study blocks and the process for teaching the alphabetical code. The methodology explains the methods, techniques, instruments and categories used in the collection and systematization of information, and the case actors. And the results present the syntheses of the observed and their analyzes, this account of the need for improvement of the good practices in the teaching of the area under study. Conclusions and recommendations are included.
